Liquid Glucose

Liquid glucose, also known as glucose syrup, is a thick, clear, and sweet syrup made by breaking down starch—typically from corn, wheat, or potatoes—into glucose molecules through a process called hydrolysis. It is widely used in the food industry for its ability to retain moisture, prevent crystallization of sugar, and improve texture and shelf life in products such as candies, jams, jellies, ice creams, baked goods, and beverages. Liquid glucose is also valued for its smooth consistency and mild sweetness, which allows it to blend well with other ingredients without overpowering the flavor. Beyond food, it is used in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics for its humectant properties.

Pulses

Pulses are nutrient-rich edible seeds of leguminous plants, widely valued for their high protein, fiber, and essential nutrient content. Common varieties include lentils, chickpeas, peas, beans, and pigeon peas, which are staples in diets across the world. They are naturally low in fat, gluten-free, and an excellent source of plant-based protein, making them a vital food for vegetarians and vegans. Pulses also play a key role in sustainable agriculture as they enrich soil fertility through nitrogen fixation, reducing the need for chemical fertilizers. With their versatility, long shelf life, and significant health benefits, pulses are an important part of a balanced and eco-friendly diet.

Makhana

Makhana, also known as fox nuts or lotus seeds, is a highly nutritious superfood obtained from the seeds of the lotus flower. Light, crunchy, and easy to digest, makhana is rich in protein, fiber, calcium, iron, and essential antioxidants, making it a perfect healthy snack option. Traditionally roasted or flavored, it is widely consumed as a guilt-free alternative to fried snacks and is especially popular in fasting diets. Makhana supports heart health, aids in weight management, strengthens bones, and improves digestion. With its growing global popularity, makhana is now enjoyed not only as a traditional Indian delicacy but also as a modern superfood snack.

They are an integral part of culinary traditions worldwide, especially in Indian cuisine, where spices like turmeric, cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, and chili are widely used. Beyond their culinary value, spices are packed with essential oils, antioxidants, and medicinal properties that promote digestion, boost immunity, and support overall health.
